Rich Gold To Be Found

Owl Creek Road is challenging for many. Not everyone makes it to the Alluvial Mine, but those who have made the supreme effort and mined the rich veins have returned with gold.

Gaily bedight,
A gallant knight,
In sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,
In search of Eldorado.

But he grew old –
This knight so bold –
And o’er his heart a shadow
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like Eldorado.

And, as his strength
Failed him at length,
He met a pilgrim shadow –
“Shadow,” said he,
“Where can it be –
This land of Eldorado?”

“Over the mountains
Of the Moon,
Down the Valley of the Shadow,
Ride, boldly ride,”
The shade replied –
“If you seek for Eldorado!”

Like the Knight many who travel in Lemuria are seeking their Eldorado. The collection of Advent Calendars on the site, filled to overflowing with the work of those who have passed this way are a testimony to just what rich veins are to be mined  in the mines such as the one at Owl Creek.

This drawing is so appropriate for Poe’s poem — and he wrote the Raven too! I just made that connection! Good choice!

I still have a way to the mine whenever I want, and the lil or big nuggets I’ve already. You can visit my claim, if you like Heather.
